ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Solidarity starts
with showing up.
We are Fundación Paraíso Solidario, a grassroots foundation based in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, in the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador. We serve a small, close-knit community and bring people together around a simple purpose: caring for our neighbors. Our founder remains deeply involved in the day-to-day work, on the ground alongside volunteers and the families we support.

Patricia Guerrero Valle
Patricia Guerrero Valle serves as president of the foundation and is a point of contact for people and organizations who want to help. In July 2024, she represented the foundation in a cooperation agreement with the Bellavista parish government and IMAHelps Ecuador to support free medical care for the community.
